On the positive side, it vacuums pretty well.
Pros:
I was shocked at how well it picked up dirt and dust parallel to its path and even more shocked to see how it rolled over and picked up a larger piece of dried spray foam.
Handle: Can be ejected and connected to the hose. The triangle shape makes it super easy to maneuver sucking up dust from the corners of your ceiling or in other tight spaces. For whatever reason, the shape even makes pushing the vacuum easier and more pleasurable.
Attachments: The turbo brush, general dust brush and the dust brush designed for tight spaces can all be mounted interchangeably to either the hose alone or the hose mounted to the handle with the attachment on the end. It’s so basic but so helpful.
Turbo Bursh: 😍 10/10 it picks up dust so well if you want to use it to dust flat surfaces. It also is amazing to pickup all the little feathers that never stop coming out of my couch.
Cord: Twice as long as my Powerforce Helix.
Cons:
Canister: Much smaller and will fill up faster
Wheels: Aren’t going to come off but do seem a little cheap. Mine made this almost squeaky sound.
Cord Mount: It’s cramped at the bottom of the back of the vaccum and given that it has a much longer cord … it’s a lot to wind up into a tight space and if you aren’t firm with it, it can pop off from time to time.
Overall Score 4.5
This one is very light, a bonus for moving it around but when I'm down on my hands and knees cleaning under beds and such with the attachments there is a 100% chance the vacuum tips over and hits me in the head. I've tried holding it upright with one hand but that's a pain so I now just tip it over ahead of time.
My only real complaint was that the cord is way too short. I had to keep moving the plug, my old one would let me get 1/3 the house done before I had to switch outlets. So.... I just took the cord off the old one and put it on this one. Some solder and heat shrink tubing and now I have my cord length back. It's too long to wind up on the cable management on the vacuum, but I'll take that trade-off. It looks ugly, but it works.
All of this dirt is from a freshly cleaned area rug.

If there's anyone with particularly long hair in the house, expect to have to pull the strands from the main brush so it doesnt build up and get stuck in the moving parts. This is less of a problem with the vacuum, and more of a reality of having long hair. It does get pretty warm during use, but cools down pretty quickly after you let it sit for a minute. Just be aware of the temperature and give it breaks if you're vacuuming the whole house.
Overall, I'm impressed for the price. Bissell is a brand I've had experience with, so I imagine it'll last a while with proper maintenance, like the other Bissell vacuums I've used before. Shipping was super fast too, from order to door in a couple hours with same-day.
Once it was reengineered, it works well. It’s light weight and I was pleasantly surprised at how well the ‘Turbo Brush’ worked! It's 'powered by the vacuum action so I was a bit skeptical, but it does work well.
I tested the vacuum on a small patch of our living room (that I had previously cleaned) and was SHOCKED to find it full of cat hair and dust! This thing is a BEAST! We vacuumed our entire living room and dumped the canister 4 times FULL of dust and cat hair. It is both rewarding and satisfying to see the suction power is so strong and so effective at cleaning our carpets. They actually LOOKED noticeably refreshed afterwards. Assembling out of the box was easy, the parts are light plastic, which makes the whole vacuum super light to lift and move around our multiple floors.
BUY IT. If you have carpets, BUY IT. If you have pets, BUY IT.
I searched and came across this little gem. All I wanted to know is if it really worked. IT DEFINITELY WORKS. I always go to the reviews with pics to help me make a good decision. The two pics that I’ve posted are very similar to the pics that caused me to buy this vacuum! Easy to assemble, light weight, easy storage, easy clean. FYI… make sure the bottom is locked BEFORE you release it to empty/clean. Mine unfortunately was not locked and all the stuff in those pics was almost dumped right back on the carpet. 😩
