I CLEANED MY CATS PLAYHOUSE AND CARPET IT WORKS GREAT⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We have had this little vac for a few months now and use it daily. The battery has never died, and it does an amazing job on stairs & furniture.

but CON: : I’m very happy with it, 5 stars because well worth it despite this!!!! BUT unfortunately you definitely have to plan ahead. It took 7 hrs to fully charge :( Also a but though… I think I could have gotten through vacuuming my overstuffed couch, chair and ottoman in 1 charge (they weren’t looking too bad… 1 run over them worked)… I just wouldn’t have enough juice to do the stairs too or furniture that hadn’t been vacuumed in a long time.
But seriously… INCREDIBLE on dog hair!! Hope that helps!
Won't show pics of the vacuum because at this point, we're all aware of what it looks like.
The results: it works. Does a good job if not a great job...
The problem is that the battery life/run time (IN MY EXPERIENCE) IS SOOOO SHORT LIVED... the run time is posted as 17 minutes... mine lasted maybe 10... if that. And to make matters worse, it literally takes a full 8 hour shift of work to charge!🤣
Combine this with the price of the unit, and literally cleaning the vacuum chamber and filter, and motorized brush (became full of hair after 8 minutes of cleaning stairs. Not complaining... like i said IT WORKS)But... I'm not feeling like I'm getting what I paid for... I posted a picture of my stairs. I was able to vacuum 7-8 steps before the red light started blinking; then I said screw it skipped the rest of the steps, and went down and vacuumed the shoe Mat and crevices at the bottom. The chamber was filthy. So make no mistake, This thing is a beast when it comes to suction power; however it doesn't last long enough to warrant the price...
Why is 17 minutes an acceptable battery life, when cleaning?
This should have came with a power cord to run on overall and if we needed it for... let's say our car, THEN 17 Minutes of power is understandable, if we needed to detach it from the power cord. 17 minutes (OR LESS!) of battery life is absolutely unacceptable in 2023. I'll see what it does the second time around and make my decision on returning it. I'd hate to do that because I really like the idea of the motorized brush. It's like mini vacuum.
Speaking of which, I was wondering if the motorized brush is what causes the battery to drain faster, and if it'd run longer without it? 🤔 I don't know... makes sense... the motor of the brush should be pulling more power from the battery, thus draining it faster.
Update: this little monster is powerful! And so far... so good.
I hired a lady who owns a house cleaning business for almost 30 years. She loved using my Bissell on my stairs as well as for corners etc around the house. She asked me where I got it so she could buy some for her house cleaning business. She said typically she only liked Shark products but never cared for their hand vacs.
IF I had one complaint, it would be that Bissell doesn't sell replacement parts for the long skinny attachment. My dog chewed mine up and I had to go on a huge hunt for a replacement since I use that attachment 90% of the time. I finally found it from some off brand company and bought 2 in case it happened again.
Oh and I just (August 2022) purchased my first filter for my "new" July 2021 vacuum. It started collapsing when I'd turn the vacuum on and lost probably 50% suction. The 2019 vacuum still has original filter. When I empty the collection chamber, I usually rinse off the filter and set outside to dry completely/overnight before putting it back together.
What im NOT okay with is USED & DISGUSTING product. Amazon clearly didn’t pay attention when re selling this returned item because it had HAIR ANS DIRTY ALLL wrapped up in the brush attachment, the attachment was all scratched up and when I looked at the body of the machine itself, oh my god. There was dirty inside of it and even that was totally scratched up and used
Since it’s so difficult trying to contact Amazon I went through Bissell themselves and explained what happened and also let them know I know this didn’t come from they’re company so I really wasn’t upset. Just grossed out.
They have been so kind, understanding & completely on my side with this situation. They are sending me a new one right away and the way their customer service rep respond is like you’re taking to a friend! Human interaction! None of that automated scripted stuff we all hate lol.
So Bissell gets all the stars and more for the way they have handled this so far for me.
I recommend this product no doubt, but just go through Bissell. Amazon doesn’t pay close enough attention clearly. You can see via the video 🤮
